Description
The Edgecore Minipack AS8000 is an open modular platform that is designed to meet the high-performance and high-capacity 100G networking needs of high-radix 100G and 100G data center architectures. It is also ideal for next-generation leaf/spine fabrics in CORD deployments, Ethernet services aggregation, internet exchanges, and service provider central offices.
The Minipack AS8000 offers full line-rate switching at Layer 2 and Layer 3 across its 100 GbE ports. This open modular platform not only reduces equipment cost and power consumption but also simplifies cabling.
Furthermore, the Minipack AS8000 supports independent Network Operating System (NOS) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN) software, providing a flexible and cost-effective solution for your networking needs.
