Description
The Edgecore DCS810 data center switch is a versatile leaf or spine switch designed for large scale data centers. This switch, in a 1RU form factor, offers line-rate L2 switching and L3 routing, deep packet inspection, and traffic load balancing among other features, across its 32 x QSFP-DD ports that can support up to 32 x 400 GbE connections.
The DCS810 is flexible in deployment, functioning as a leaf switch that supports 25/50/100 GbE to servers, routers and more, with 100/400 GbE uplinks. Alternatively, it can serve as a spine switch supporting 100/400 GbE leaf and spine interconnects.
This open network switch comes with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE), facilitating the installation of compatible network operating system (NOS) software. This includes the open source option Open Network Linux and various commercial NOS offerings.
