Description
The Edgecore CSR440 is a disaggregated open cell site gateway platform, offering a mix of 1/10/25Gbps, 50/100Gbps, and 100/400Gbps interfaces. It leverages the robust Qumran family merchant silicon and an Intel Xeon x86 processor with hyper-threading technology, ensuring optimized performance for service provider access and aggregation networks.
Designed to withstand extreme temperatures, the CSR440 can operate in a broad temperature range from -40˚C to 65˚C. It features redundant/hot swappable power modules and 5+1 high-efficiency modular fans, ensuring high availability and easy maintenance for mission-critical applications. This makes the hardware a perfect fit for both current LTE and upcoming 5G mobile xhaul network solutions.
The CSR440 comes pre-installed with ONIE (Open Network Install Environment), offering users the flexibility and freedom to choose their preferred NOS (Network Operating System) integrated with their applications. Video
